Here is what’s happening in the month of May:
Desert Entertainment presents Finikera Fest at Mark Coronado Park on Friday, May 2, from 3 to 10 p.m., and on Saturday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Two days of music, culture and fun for the whole family. The CaliCreaming Car Show will be rolling into Surprise on Saturday, May 10, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Surprise Stadium. Come out and see the high-octane event that brings car enthusiasts and the community together for an unforgettable day of thrills, excitement and nonstop action! Spend Mother’s Day sipping on mimosas, eating yummy food and shopping with local vendors at Moms & Mimosas presented by PS I Love AZ! The event takes place at Mark Coronado Park on Sunday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, children 10 and under are free.
Come out and see a country music concert in the best Spring Training stadium in the country as Flying E Ranch presents Chris Janson w/ Special Guests Neal McCoy & David Lee Murphy at Surprise Stadium on Saturday, May 17. If tennis is your game, then check out the USTA National Junior Tournament being held at the Surprise Tennis & Raquet Complex, May 17 - 19. The 25-court venue is one of the nation’s top tennis centers, hosting national and conference tennis championships at all levels.
Baseball action continues with the Arizona Complex League, a Rookie-level circuit offering fans a look into the future stars of baseball! Games are open to the public with free admission.
Competition plays on with the Perfect Game Memorial Day Classic being held at the Surprise Stadium Complex from May 23 to 26. Youth teams from across the country will be here playing against top-level competition in front of college recruiters and professional scouts.
