The Surprise SciTech Festival is a high-energy, hands-on celebration of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (S.T.E.A.M.) for all ages. This free community event showcases real-world innovation through engaging exhibits from educational, civic, and business organizations, and local innovators. As a signature event of the Arizona SciTech Institute, the festival also highlights career pathways to spark interest in S.T.E.A.M. fields and the industries shaping our future.

White Tank Mountain Regional Park is hosting its annual open house event on February 21st from 9am - 2pm! Come to the park's Nature Center for a chance to meet park staff, enjoy live music, and throw your name into a raffle. We'll also have a Park Ranger on hand to answer all your questions.

The City of Surprise is bringing fun to running at Surprise Stadium on Friday, March 7, with the 7th Annual Surprise Spring Training 5K & 1K Fun Run presented by Palm Valley Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics. The 5K and 1K fun run will begin at 7 p.m. at Surprise Stadium and take you on a scenic evening run through Surprise before heading back to the ballpark to cross the finish line at the field!

Join Surprise Comics for Free Comic Book Day! Each attendee will get up to 10 free comics, while supplies last. There will be sales throughout the store. Guest artist Scott Serkland will be signing and sketching. There will be hourly giveaways, and the return of the Surprise Box!
