First Friday Surprise is a pop-up creative district that appears on the first Friday of the month, eight nights a season, October through May. Curated makers and artists, food trucks, and live music fill the space in and around Arts HQ Gallery, in the heart of Surprise. Every month carries a new theme that shapes the art, the makers, and the menu. Not a market, not a festival. A district that appears, then disappears.

February turns Celebration of Fandom. A night for pop culture and the things you love loudly, with the people who love them with you. Come in costume, browse the artist tables, and dig through the treasures. Stickers is the month's featured discipline. Food fandom on the menu, where fusion and the food someone grew up on land on the same street.
