First Friday Surprise | La Mesa

First Friday Surprise is a pop-up creative district that appears on the first Friday of the month, eight nights a season, October through May. Curated makers and artists, food trucks, and live music fill the space in and around Arts HQ Gallery, in the heart of Surprise. Every month carries a new theme that shapes the art, the makers, and the menu. Not a market, not a festival. A district that appears, then disappears.

The season opens at La Mesa. Papel picado strung overhead, one long communal table set in the middle of the district, and Hispanic Heritage at the heart of the night, carried through the makers, the artists, and the food trucks leading the lineup. We invite artists to showcase their works of art Made by Hand, the kind you can pick up and hold. Everyone's got a seat at the table.For more information visit FirstFridaySurprise.com
