Celebrate the holidays with a festive evening of music at LIVE at Asante, a free outdoor performance series at Asante Library for all ages. Bring a lawn chair, gather your friends and family, and enjoy a relaxed night filled with seasonal music.

The evening features GrooveProviders Band, a live jazz trio, bringing holiday favorites to life with piano, bass and drums. Rooted in jazz and shaped by influences from Motown, disco and classic rock, the performance offers a smooth, expressive take on familiar songs with a fresh holiday feel.

In addition to live music, enjoy free, hands-on arts activities provided by Surprise Library and a local food truck.

Come early, get comfortable, and make a night of it — a simple, festive way to connect with your community through music, creativity and shared experience.

For Anthony Lloyd, music has always been more than just sound—it’s a lifelong passion that began on the living room floor, listening to his grandmother’s records while surrounded by the nostalgia of plastic-covered couches. Influenced by Motown, Disco, and Classic Rock, he first picked up the clarinet in high school, but at his father’s urging, he made the switch to the saxophone—an instrument that would become his true musical voice. Since then, he hasn’t put it down, expanding his skills to include guitar and bass to further enhance his versatility and contribution to the music community. Over the years, he has had the privilege of performing with Alex Boyé, Marcus Anderson, LeBron Dennis, Antonio Jackson, Lisa Hightower, and Bibire Harmony, bringing his soulful sound and deep appreciation for music to every stage.
