First Friday Surprise | Cowboy Spring

First Friday Surprise is a pop-up creative district that appears on the first Friday of the month, eight nights a season, October through May. Curated makers and artists, food trucks, and live music fill the space in and around Arts HQ Gallery, in the heart of Surprise. Every month carries a new theme that shapes the art, the makers, and the menu. Not a market, not a festival. A district that appears, then disappears.

April turns Cowboy Spring. Modern cowboy rather than old western, with the desert in bloom and the whole district dressed for it. Painting is the month's featured discipline. BBQ on the menu, smoke and slow cooking all night.
